Java Developer

Title: Java Developer
Experience: 8 Years

Location: Dallas, TX

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement scalable microservices using Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
Collaborate with architects and business stakeholders to define solution architecture.
Drive best practices in coding, design, and deployment.
Guide and mentor junior developers through code reviews, technical sessions, and task planning.
Integrate backend services with data platforms including Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Hive, etc.).
Ensure system scalability, performance, security, and reliability.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Support DevOps practices including CI/CD, containerization, and monitoring.

Required Skills:

Strong proficiency in Core Java (8+), Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
Experience with REST APIs, Maven/Gradle, and JUnit/TestNG.
Solid understanding of design patterns, multithreading, exception handling, and collections.
Experience with Big Data ecosystems (Spark, Kafka, Hive, HDFS, etc.) is desirable.
Working knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).

Good to Have:

Exposure to Angular or React for full-stack development.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of API security, authentication, and authorization (OAuth2, JWT)
